Paradise awaits those who seek to experience the traditions of ancient times combined with the comforts of modern luxuries when you travel to the still authentic Balinese destination of Kenderan, located about 10 minutes outside of the town of Ubud and stay at the newly completed (2009) Aruna Villas.

Religious ceremonies are part of daily life on Bali with its ancient temples and palaces.  Nearly nightly, visitors to Ubud are able to observe their beautiful and varied cultural performances; particularly the Hindu epic, the Ramayana; also the Kecak dance, the Fire dance, the Monkey dance and the Legong dance.

The Aruna Villas are at an altitude of more than 300 meters (or 900 feet) above sea level, which insures a constant breeze and cooler temperature than on the hot seashore, about one hour drive away.  Surrounded by rice fields whose farmers still employ ancient techniques and with a view of the forest in the distance, the tranquility is complete.
